Nestled between dunes and bushveld, Beach Adventures was born from a love of horses and an even deeper love of nature. What began as a small local trail has grown into a community of passionate riders and adventurers. Our mission is simple: to help people experience the joy of horseback riding in one of the most breathtaking settings on earth.
We are a family-run operation passionate about our horses. Our stables are situated on our private farm approximately 10km north of Ballito.
The Ride
Your journey begins on winding bush paths, shaded by native trees and alive with birdsong. As we make our way through the wild terrain, you'll feel a peaceful rhythm settle in—just you, the horse, and the sound of nature.
Come and join us today for a 2-hour bush trail ride onto and along a beautiful private beach. The trail opens onto a secluded stretch of coastline where golden sand meets the blue of the sea. Here, we slow the pace, giving you time to soak in the view, take photos, and let your horse play in the surf.

PLEASE NOTE
We welcome riders from ages 11 and up. For younger children, previous riding experience is required. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities.
Before You Ride
We want every moment of your adventure to be enjoyable—from the moment you arrive to the final hoofprint on the sand. To help make that happen, here’s what you need to know before saddling up.
Arrival Time
Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes before your departure time. This gives you time to meet your horse, get comfortable with your guide, and settle in before the ride begins.
Late arrivals: If you arrive more than 20 minutes after your scheduled time, this time will be deducted from your 2-hour experience.
Bookings are Essential
All rides are by appointment only to ensure a personalised and safe experience for every rider. Be sure to book in advance to secure your spot!
Important Information
Weight limit: 105kg per rider.
One rider per horse — For safety, horses are not shared during rides.
Minimum age: 11 years old (unless the child has prior riding experience).
Booking confirmation — Your ride is only confirmed once full payment is received.
Cancellations: Must be made at least 36 hours prior to the ride to qualify for a refund.
Clothing requirements:
Long pants and closed shoes are mandatory.
We do not provide clothing. Riders not dressed appropriately will not be allowed to ride, and the booking will be forfeited.
No alcohol or drugs — Riders under the influence will not be permitted to ride. Suspicion of alcohol use may result in a breathalyzer test. No refunds will be given in such cases.

Closed shoes (no sandals)
Long trousers or riding pants
